This Privacy Policy explains how Purrfect Hire OÜ ("Purrfect Hire," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit our website, communicate with us, apply to a role, join the Offer Accelerator advisory, or interact with us on social media and messaging platforms, including WhatsApp. By using our services you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

Purrfect Hire runs senior and executive searches for venture-backed companies, and looks for talent in the market where the role sits. We work across the United States, Europe and Latin America.

We run two separate services, and the distinction matters for your data:

  • Search, for companies that are hiring ("Companies") and the candidates we consider for those roles ("Talent").
  • Private advisory, including Offer Accelerator, Career Compounding and individual strategic sessions for senior professionals. These are paid engagements separate from consideration in a client search.

Purrfect Hire OÜ is the data controller responsible for your personal information.

2. Information we collect

We collect information that you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties.

Information you provide

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number, and country or city.
  • Professional information: resume/CV, work history, skills, portfolio or profile links (e.g. LinkedIn, GitHub), English level, and expected compensation where requested on a role application.
  • Application and advisory data: answers you submit when applying to a role or enrolling in Offer Accelerator, including interview notes and progress.
  • Company and hiring details: for Companies, information about your company, open roles, and hiring requirements.
  • Communications: messages you send us by email, web form, social media, or WhatsApp, and any files you share.

Information collected automatically

This website does not use advertising cookies or cross-site profiling. The open roles pages request published vacancy information from our recruiting service. When you submit a role application, that service receives the information and files you choose to send. The founders booking link opens Cal.com, which provides its own privacy information before you submit a booking.

If we add audience measurement, it will be a tool that counts visits without cookies and without identifying you personally, and this section will say so before it goes live.

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.

Information from third parties

  • Publicly available professional information, referrals, and data from partners or platforms (such as Meta/WhatsApp, LinkedIn, or hiring partners) used to evaluate fit and facilitate introductions.

3. How we use your information

  • To assess Talent against the requirements of a role and to present candidates to Companies.
  • To deliver Offer Accelerator, including sessions, preparation and feedback.
  • To evaluate applications, conduct assessments, and coordinate interviews and offers.
  • To communicate with you about our services, your application, scheduling, and support requests.
  • To operate, secure, analyze, and improve our website and services.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. Messaging and WhatsApp

We use messaging channels, including WhatsApp (a Meta Platforms service), to communicate with candidates, advisory clients, and Companies. When you message us, we collect your phone number, profile name, and the content of your messages to respond to you, coordinate next steps, and provide updates about roles or the advisory.

We use these channels only to communicate with people who have contacted us or agreed to be contacted. We do not sell your phone number. Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by Meta's own terms and privacy policy, which you should review separately.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to provide our services:

  • With Companies: we share relevant candidate profiles and application materials with companies considering you for a role, with your awareness.
  • With service providers: vendors that help us run our business (e.g. hosting, scheduling, email, analytics, and messaging providers such as Meta), bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • For legal reasons: when required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or abuse.
  • In a business transfer: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Offer Accelerator: what stays private

Your participation in Offer Accelerator, your payments and our private advisory notes are confidential. We do not disclose them to client companies, and we do not use them to change how you are assessed.

You can be considered for a real vacancy if you meet its requirements. The recommendation rests on the same role requirements and evidence standards that apply to everyone else. We share no private rubrics, no interview answers, no confidential client information and no private advisory notes in either direction. Being considered in a Purrfect search is free, and Offer Accelerator is never required.

7. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable (for example, under the GDPR), we process personal data on the basis of your consent, the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request, our legitimate interests in operating a recruiting service, and compliance with legal obligations.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain candidate and client relationships, and meet legal or business requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your rights" below).

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to request a copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at go@purrfecthire.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

10. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International transfers

We operate internationally, and your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and the European Union. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards to protect your data when it is transferred across borders.

12. Children's privacy

Our services are intended for working professionals and are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
