This Privacy Policy explains how Purrfect Hire OÜ ("Purrfect Hire," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit our website, communicate with us, apply to a role, join the Offer Acceleration program, or interact with us on social media and messaging platforms, including WhatsApp. By using our services you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
Purrfect Hire is a closed-loop recruiting service that connects senior professionals in Latin America with startups in the United States and beyond. We operate on both sides of the hiring relationship: with companies that are hiring ("Founders") and with individuals seeking roles or career growth ("Talent"). Purrfect Hire OÜ is the data controller responsible for your personal information.
2. Information we collect
We collect information that you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties.
Information you provide
- Contact details — name, email address, phone number, and country or city.
- Professional information — resume/CV, work history, skills, portfolio or profile links (e.g. LinkedIn, GitHub), and compensation expectations.
- Application and program data — answers you submit when applying to a role or enrolling in the Offer Acceleration program, including interview notes and progress.
- Company and hiring details — for Founders, information about your company, open roles, and hiring requirements.
- Communications — messages you send us by email, web form, social media, or WhatsApp, and any files you share.
Information collected automatically
- Basic device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs, collected through cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the site.
Information from third parties
- Publicly available professional information, referrals, and data from partners or platforms (such as Meta/WhatsApp, LinkedIn, or hiring partners) used to evaluate fit and facilitate introductions.
3. How we use your information
- To match Talent with relevant roles and to introduce qualified candidates to Founders.
- To deliver the Offer Acceleration program, including coaching, interview preparation, and feedback.
- To evaluate applications, conduct assessments, and coordinate interviews and offers.
- To communicate with you about our services, your application, scheduling, and support requests.
- To operate, secure, analyze, and improve our website and services.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. Messaging and WhatsApp
We use messaging channels, including WhatsApp (a Meta Platforms service), to communicate with candidates, program participants, and Founders. When you message us, we collect your phone number, profile name, and the content of your messages to respond to you, coordinate next steps, and provide updates about roles or the program.
We use these channels only to communicate with people who have contacted us or agreed to be contacted. We do not sell your phone number. Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by Meta's own terms and privacy policy, which you should review separately.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only as needed to provide our services:
- With Founders / hiring companies — we share relevant candidate profiles and application materials with companies considering you for a role, with your awareness.
- With service providers — vendors that help us run our business (e.g. hosting, scheduling, email, analytics, and messaging providers such as Meta), bound by confidentiality obligations.
- For legal reasons — when required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or abuse.
- In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable (for example, under the GDPR), we process personal data on the basis of your consent, the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request, our legitimate interests in operating a recruiting service, and compliance with legal obligations.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain candidate and client relationships, and meet legal or business requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your rights" below).
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to request a copy of your data. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our services are intended for working professionals and are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
